FIfth GRADE - PREP online
The sacraments
This is a Catechist led, parent managed program. Catechists teach students online, and parents use the tool to reinforce learning in the home. In Fifth Grade PREP students will experience an in-depth exploration of God's grace in the Sacraments, with a focus on what a Sacrament is and why Jesus instituted them.
Things the students will learn in Fifth Grade religious instruction.

Students explore what it means that God is the source of all life, learn more about Holy Mass and Holy Days of Obligation, and read and discuss longer biographies of the saints, especially young saints.

While it's important for your children to understand the Faith, Spirit of Truth is designed to help them internalize the Faith and apply it to their own lives, providing ample opportunity for them to reflect on how everything they are learning applies to their own lived experience.

PREP Catechist Instructional Videos
Every week a new video lesson created by your Catechist will appear in this section of the webpage. Please watch and complete each lesson as required. Since these lessons are pre-recorded, students are encouraged to pace themselves as needed, pausing for breaks, returning a few days later, revisiting later in the year. We will post weekly and suggest completing each lesson weekly, but families should access when appropriate for their own schedules.
