Junior High Youth Ministry
We get it. Teens just want a cool place to get together. With ping-pong, pool, video games, music, food and comfy chairs, the OLG Youth Room is a fantastic place to meet.
When the weather is nice, teens hang outside playing dodgeball, volleyball, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, minute-to-win-it games and so much more. Our youth groups like rope courses, ice skating, bowling, laser tag, hayrides and more.
We also help others by working in soup kitchens, making gifts for families, helping those in need and other service projects throughout the year. Teens also participate in a youth Mass each month and take opportunities to learn more about their faith. Sound like fun? Then come join us!
Fun, fun and more fun! Junior High is one of the toughest times of a teen’s life since they are transitioning into a different school and facing all types of new pressures to fit in. At our meetings, we hang out for a while, hear God’s Word and discuss what it means to be “Catholic.”
We have many discussions about stuff that matters to them and how we are always being pointed toward God for the answer. Friendships are born here and flourish for many years. Whatever teens may think this group is about, they are probably wrong. Our youth room is second to none and the best place to be on a Sunday.
